Climb for Kid’s Sake Day 20: Last day and a party with the Sherpas!

We had rain and lightning all of last night in Namche.  The sky was clear this morning though…thank goodness!  We had breakfast first thing this morning (this photo of my group was taken in our favorite breakfast-bakery!) then headed back to Lukla where we’ll spend the night in anticipation of catching a flight to Kathmandu tomorrow.  Looks like we will be able to fly out tomorrow morning after all!! YAY!!  16 days on the mountain is enough for me.  It was a magical trip and all, but it is time to get on with life.  Later tonight we have a celebratory party with the sherpas who accompanied us on our trek. They are so excited!! LOL! It’s cute to see their excitement!  Looks like I will be in Katmandu tomorrow as planned!  Oh!
