Fundraising Event

I have to blog about something that is close to my heart.

I hope all my readers are moved and can attend my fundraising event to raise money for working on an Orphanage in Africa I visited last March when I went to Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro for Big Brothers & Big Sisters.

I have a million memories and I can’t quit thinking about this orphange. These children and teachers need a cement floor, a ceiling, chalk boards, windows and doors to complete it.

I feel a huge need to go back to Africa and work on this Orphanage. It is compelling me and that is all I think about and I feel like when my life is at it’s end I will be able to look back and know that I helped make a difference to someone in this world and I know you get the picture.

When I go there I will also climb Mt. Kilimanjaro again to raise money and awareness for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. I was succcessful in summitting this massive mountain this past March and I am looking for trip sponsors this time around. So if there is anyone out there who would like to either participate in person or in becoming a sponsor please contact me!! I am looking for donations toward the cost of the trip, the Orpahange project and/or the Climb for Kids up Mt. Kilimanjaro again. Combined this trip will cost a total of 17,750.

Iam hoping to raise money over and above with the remainder going to BBBS here in Lethbridge so hopefully I can raise 25,000 dollars like last March or hopefully way beyond 25,000!! That would be amazing!!!!

I want to go do this so badly and be there to do this for them and make sure that it gets done myself and I will film it and make a presentation out of it so that I can do a presentation when I get back to all who want to come watch it!
