MLS Listings in Lethbridge Down by 100!!!

Hello all you home shopping enthusiasts!!

It is exciting to note that, ever since the headlines came out in the paper that the recession is over, the housing market is picking up!!  Home sales have been brisk and there are many homes with conditional offers already.
On July 15th there were 686 properties listed for sale in Lethbridge; on August 31st, there were 100 fewer!!  If this keeps up, we will be down to 80 listings again like we had in 2006!!

We have approximately 260 Real Estate agents inside the parameters of the city limits so let’s see here…..if all Realtors write an offer today then that leaves us with 1/2 of the available listings…see my concern?  Lower inventory means buyers have less to choose from.  But for vendors, it is a good thing as prices are on the rise again!
Buyers:  with low interest rates still available, you may want to get your financing in order and come talk to me ASAP!!

This home sold for $380,000.  But, given the current market situation,  this home could provide a return on their investment in just a few months!!  These lucky clients managed to buy at the bottom of the market.  I predict nothing but an increase in property value for the next few years.
