My giving is fuelled by your referrals!

As I reflect on 2009, I find myself so grateful for all the clients who chose me to help them buy or sell a home.  Thanks to all of you, I’ve had the opportunity to make a huge impact: in our local community and in the world!

Thanks to everyone who referred me to their friends and family in 2009!   Through my referral program, I was able to return $17,000 to my valued clients as a way of saying thanks for their referrals.  Much of that money ended up supporting local business and boosting the Lethbridge economy.  Keep those referrals coming.  And remember…I’m never to busy for any of your referrals!

I’m a big brother to two “Littles”.  Thanks to my clients, who fuel my business with their referrals, I’m able to take time away from work to mentor these two children and assist Big Brothers Big Sisters Lethbridge with their fund raising.

2009 marked my second Big Brothers Big Sisters Climb for Kid’s Sake as I travelled once again to Tanzania, Africa to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.  Over two years, I was able raise over $19,000 in support of this worthwhile cause.  This year’s Climb for Kid’s Sake will take place in May when I’ll be traveling to Nepal to climb to Mount Everest Base Camp! While I was in Africa for my climb, I also had the opportunity to work on the Linde School for the second time. Many you contributed funds to help put windows in the school. The children were thrilled with the windows and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to get to know them and their culture. I’m returning to the Linde School this month to do some more work on the school. Stay tuned for an update in March!
